ABSOLUTE FINAL DEADLINE  FOR  REGISTERING FOR 2008 RACE !!

May       17    Inspection Day and Impoundment - 9:00 AM - Old Roses Building - Willow Oak
                        Shopping Center - You must arrive by 3:00 PM

May       21    Heat and Lane Drawing -- Moose Lodge -- 6:30PM

1. Q. How do I obtain a sponsor?
A. Check with local businesses, friends, or relatives. Several individuals can sponsor you.
2. Q. How much does a car cost?
       A. Stock cars -- $515 White, $530 for Red or Blue;   Super Stock cars  $540     Masters $685
  3. Q. What's the difference between cars?
       A. The Stock cars are normally for the beginners (less than 130 pounds)

 Super Stock cars are for heavier drivers (over 130 pounds but less than 160).Masters are more
 challenging to build. Check the age requirements for each division

4. Q. If I already have a car, how much is the registration fee?
       A. The entry fee is $50.00 before March 15. $60 after March 15.
5. Q. What are the prizes for the winners of the local race?
       A. Trophies, medals and/or cash awards are given to the first 8 places in each division. There are 2

divisions in Stock and Super Stock, 1 in Masters. In addition the Champs parents will receive $1000 to off-set expenses in Akron for the All-American weekend..  

6. Q. How old do I have to be to race?
       A. Ages to race are 8 to 17. You must be 8 by the day of the local race. Check
             the registration form for specific age limits for each division.

7. Q. What are maximum weights of car and driver?
       A. Stock Cars -- 200 lbs.  Super Stock Cars -- 230 lbs. Masters -- 255 These weights
            are car and driver together, total weight.

8. Q. How much do the car kits weigh?
A. Stock, Super Stock and Masters cars weigh ~ 65 pounds.
9. Q. Who has to build the cars from the kits provided?
       A. The participant, with supervision of parent or guardian.
10. Q. How do I get my car kit if I don't have a car?

      You can order your car by checking the box “I NEED A CAR” on the registration form

       before March 15 and we will obtain your car shipping free. After that date you may order
from Akron direct and pay shipping.
